This is a classic Christmas Movie. Doris Walker works for Macys. During the Thanksgiving Day parade Santa gets drunk. Doris asks a new man to fill in as Santa. The new Santa is hit. But the new Santa takes his job to heart. He tells Doris that he really is Santa. Eventually Santa is locked in Bellevue. Doris' friend Fred Gaily decides to help get Santa out of the hospital. One transpires makes Miracle on 34th street one of the most beloved Christmas movies.

It stars Natalie Wood as Susan Walker, Maureen O'Hara as Doris Walker and John Payne as Fred Gaily. Edmund Gwenn plays Kris Kringle the real Santa.
